We now have a way to do carbon offsets through our St Paul’s giving link. Please select “carbon offsets” from the drop down menu and we will transfer those donations to the Carbon Offset Cooperative Mission partnership between our diocese and the Diocese of Southern Philippines to fund tree-planting in the Philippines. 

Here are some examples of what typical carbon footprints are in Washington, and how much to contribute to offset the full CO2 emissions:

  • House of 1 = 6 tons of CO2/Yr = $90

  • Family of 2 = 15 tons of CO2/Yr = $220

  • Family of 4 = 25 tons of CO2/Yr = $375

  • 2000 mile flight = 1 ton of CO2 = $15
