St. Paul’s has an agreement with The Uptown Community Center to allow parking on Sunday mornings in their parking lot from 7:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. – until March, 2008. The Community Center building is on the corner of Warren and Roy (157 East Roy), just one block east of St. Paul’s. Turn left on Warren from Roy or Mercer Street. See map attached to parking permit.
Our little parking lot doesn’t fit as many cars as we’d like. But there are methods that will help us fit as many cars as possible. Please follow these general rules (especially before evening services when street parking is difficult to obtain): When filling in the spaces in the middle, (perpendicular to the marked spaces) try to park so that three rows of cars can fit. Thank you for helping! Also, please don’t leave a gap by parking at the edge of the parking lot (near the sidewalk), simply because you would like to leave right after the service. This usually leaves at least one or two less spaces for others. If you need to leave early, please park somewhere other than the parking lot.
Metropolitan Market, Bartell Drugs and Kinkos share an underground parking lot. Metropolitan Market will validate for 90 minutes of parking when you make a purchase.
