Safety & Security

St. Paul’s has put together a document providing guidance for the community regarding issues of safety and security for all who attend services or programs on our property. See our document outlining Expectations for Hospitality through Safety and Security Norms here.

Safe Church Training

Many in our community must complete mandatory child sexual abuse prevention training and/or sexual harassment training before working in their ministry areas. This includes all employees, staff-level volunteers, Lay Eucharistic Visitors, Vestry members, and anyone who has contact with or works in proximity to children, youth, or vulnerable adults.

See a full list of trainings in Western Washington and documents for Safe Church on the Diocese of Olympia’s website.

Diocesan Licensing for Eucharistic Visitors and Others

Note that other licensing forms may be required for certain ministry done by laypeople in our diocese, particularly Preachers, Eucharistic Ministers, Eucharistic Visitors, and Worship Leaders. Those forms may be viewed and downloaded here.
