Arts

Creativity is God’s presence in all of us. At St. Paul’s, we believe beauty in all of its forms bears witness to God. Our congregation includes painters, singers, actors, dancers, filmmakers, designers, musicians, poets, film critics, and patrons of the arts, many of whom experience St. Paul’s as a sanctuary for creative people. The sacred spaciousness of our worship and the sanctuary where we worship reflects the interweaving of beauty with our faith and daily lives.

St. Paul's is in a good spot to be God's hands and feet in the world. I think of St. Paul's as an anchor.

Voices of St. Paul's

St. Paul's has everything we were looking for in a church: community, beauty, art, liturgy. As with most communities, my time spent being involved has drawn me further into community....St. Paul's has a place in Seattle as a church that champions the arts while simultaneously championing many social justice causes.

Voices of St. Paul's

Having a place that's constant and steady and always there is very comforting. I really enjoy St. Paul's Benedictine Spirituality: the idea that one should be rooted and grounded in one's community and in one's day....I'm particularly excited about the work we do with the arts, supporting our parish's poets and painters and musicians and also finding ways to support art in the community.

St. Paul's is a spiritual haven. It is a unique place where people can come and participate in a spiritual community that allows them to find their way. A safe place.
